Heinrick G.(Henry) Hollatz was born May 25, 1888 in Joliet, Ilinois,the son of August C. Karl, and Augusta Wilhelmine (Strauss) Hollatz. He married Bertha Augusa (Bohn), the daughter of Willliam and Augusta Bohn, on October 27, 1910 at St.John's Lutheran Church. They farmed all of their married life northwest of Ventura until 1945 when they retired and moved into Clear Lake.
Henry passed away on March 3, 1970. Services were held at St. John's Lutheran Church with burial in St.John's Cemetery.
