Catharine was the daughter of Michael and Mary Madgalena Catherine Hedrick Wolf. She was born in NC where the family was first found. She moved with her parents and siblings to KY before settling in Norfork, AR. Probably as a result of her family members being involved in the Tutt/Everett War they moved to Texas about 1850. Eventually all of her children but the son, John Q. Wolf were found in Texas also.
She was the mother of 12 children. Her head stone is the only one preserved in the family plot in Golaid Co., TX. It was protected by a wroght iron fence. It is known that her other family members are buried in the same spot. Some members of the adjoining ranch family, the Sawyers, are also buried there. It is believed that her son Francis married one of the Sawyer girls.
Pryscilla Catharine's husband Matthew Adams is buried in the Sycamore Cemetery in Levita, Coryell Co., TX.
