Raymond Barna 46 North St. Plains died Saturday in Penn State Geisinger, The Milton S. Hershey MedIcal Center, Hershey.

He was born in Wilkes-Barre, son of the late Paul and Elizabeth Baron Barna, and attended city schools.

Mr. Barna was a member of St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church, 695 N. Main St., Wilkes-Barre. He was an Air Force veteran and was self-employed in an appliance repair service business.

Surviving are his wife, the former Eleanor Yanol; son, Michael, Plains; daughter, Christine, Lansdale; brother, Joseph, Philadelphia; sister, Anna Wiss, Wapwallopen.

Funeral will be held Thursday at 9 from Mary A. Harostock, 480 N. Main St., Wilkes-Barre, with Divine Liturgy at 9:30 in St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church with Monsignor John Sekellick officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township. Friends may call Wednesday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Parastas service will be conducted Wednesday at 2:30 p.m.
