Raymond P. Barna, 24, of North River Street, Plains, died Monday in the Community Medical Center, Scranton, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident just before midnight Sunday on South River Street, Plains Township.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was a son of Raymond and Eleanor Yanok Barna.
He was a graduate of Coughlin High School, Wilkes-Barre, and Luzerne County Community College, Nanticoke.
He was employed by Birchwood Landscaping Company, Plains.
He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church, Wilkes-Barre.
Surviving are a brother and sister, Michael and Christine, at home; grandmother, Elizabeth Yanok, Plymouth.
Funeral services will be 9 a.m. Thursday from the Mary A. Harostock Funeral, 480 N. Main St., Wilkes-Barre, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. John the Evangelist Church.
Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township.
