Paul Barna Jr., of School Street, Hudson, Plains Township, died Thursday morning in the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Plains Township.

Born in Miners Mills, Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Paul and Elizabeth Baron Barna Sr. He attended Coughlin High School.

He served in C.C. Camps for several years.

He was an Army veteran of World War II.

He worked for the A&P Tea Co., for 38 years, until retiring.

He was a member of St. Joseph's Church, Hudson.

Surviving are his wife, the former Helen Novicki, at home; daughter, Mrs. Rita McKeon, Sea Bright, N.J.; son, Bernard Paul, Newton, N.J.; brothers, Raymond, Plains; Joseph, Bensalem; sisters, Elizabeth Barna, Harveys Lake; Ann Wiss, Hobbie, Wapwallopen; four grandchildren; one great-grandson.

Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday from the Mark V. Yanaitis Funeral Home, 55 Stark St., Plains, with a funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, Hudson.

Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Hudson.
