Mrs. Emil Reichardt(sic) Dies of Heart Failure
The people of the community were shocked on Monday morning when they learned of the sudden death of Mrs. Emil Reichart of near Kiel, who died of heart failure at 2 a.m., Monday. She had apparently been in good health, as Mr. and Mrs. Reichart attended a birthday celebration the previous evening.

The deceased, nee Anna Maria Raquet, was born in the town of Schleswig on May 6, 1873, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Franz Raquet. She was married to Emil Reichart on June 6, 1896, and the couple lived in Kiel. Mr. Reichart is a mason contractor by trade.

The family has lived in their present residence for the last twenty-two years.

Mrs. Reichart is survived by her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Edwin Drake of Louis Corners, and Miss Roma Reichart of Madison; two sons, Erdman Reichart of Kiel, and Eldon at home; seven brothers, John and George Raquet of Kiel, David, Jacob and Carl of Schleswig, Frank of Millhome, and Emil of the town of Herman; three sisters, Miss Barbara Raquet of Millhome, Mrs. Hy. Dirks of Louis Corners, and Mrs. Herm. Roethel of Kiel; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 1:30 from the home, and at 2 p.m. at the Reformed church at Kiel. Burial will be made in the Kiel cemetery. Rev. Rech is in charge of the obsequies.
