Born July 25, 1879, In the town of Schleswig, Manitowoc county, the son of Frank and Anna Raquet. He was married to Lillie Gessert on Dec, 23, 1905, and they resided at Spring Corners for the first 16 years of their married life. For six years they resided on the John Gessert homestead and for the past 15 years at Kohler where Mr. Raquet was employed at the Kohler company.
Survivors are his wife Lillie; three brothers, John of Kiel, David of Schleswig and George of Sheboygan; a sister, Mrs. Herman (Katie) Roethel of Kiel. Three brothers and five sisters preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1:30 pm. at Ballhorn Funeral chapels, Rev. Albert Huber of Kohler officiating. Burial will be in Wlldwood cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral chapels beginning Monday morning.
