This is my dear Mother. A true mom to all who came into her home. My mother Margaret "Ella" was a twin to Martha "Edna". Mother told me that in the house she was born in, the two previous families living there each had a set of twins. Mother was born second according to birth certificate and she was named after her grandmother Margaret Satcher Carney. Her twin sister was named after the other grandmother Martha Ellen Stephens Jones.

PRENTISS - Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Saulters-Moore Funeral Home Chapel in Prentiss for Margaret Ella Bishop , 77, of Prentiss, who died May 15, 2004, at her home.

Burial will be in Brady Cemetery.

Mrs. Bishop was a retired day care worker. She was a member of Prentiss Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Bishop. Survivors include two sons, Ray Bishop of Mendenhall, and Richard Bishop of Prentiss; five daughters, Pat Holden of Sontag, Betty Robbins of Carson, Myrtis Craig of Orlando, Fla., Margaret Coble of Iowa, Linda Hester of Prentiss; one sister, Annie Dennis of Mount Olive; 19 grandchildren and 22 great- grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 2:30-9 p.m. today and 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
