Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday at Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home for Vergie Mae Stevens, 76, of Hattiesburg, who died July 25, 1988 at Methodist Hospital.
The Rev. B.L. Smith will officiate. Interment will be in Highland Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Billy Ray Jones, Billy Joe Jones, Albert Lee Bynum, James Bynum, Royce Bynum and Robbie Turner.
Mrs. Stevens was a native of Covington County and had been a resident of Hattiesburg since 1939. She was a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Hattiesburg.
Survivors include one son, Howard Ray Stevens of Hattiesburg; one daughter, Ethel Mae Cook of Hattiesburg eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Pearlie Bynum of Mendenhall, Annie Dennis of Mt. Olive, Ella Bishop of Prentiss and Myrtle McKinley of Collins.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 tonight at the funeral home.
