ANDREW J. ALLFORD
28, OF GALENA, DIES
Galena, Kan., Nov. 9. - Andrew Jackson Allford, 28 years old son of Mr. and Mrs. K. L. Allford, Ninth and Dewey streets, died at 3 o'clock this afternoon at St. John's hospital in Joplin, where he was taken for medical treatment a week ago today. He had been ill for a long time.
He was born in Galena June 15, 1901, and had resided here all his life. Besides his parents, he is survived by a brother, E. L. Allford of Wallace, Ida., and three sisters, Mrs. Watt Bailey, Mrs. W. J. Patterson and Mrs. Edward Kersh, all of Galena.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon, provided the brother doesn't come from Idaho. Should he decide to come, the funeral date will be postponed. Services will be held at the Assembly of God church with the Rev. W. O. Singletary, pastor in charge.
The body was brought to the Clark Undertaking Company's establishment.
