William Alpheus Ammerman, 63, a retired oil distributor, died at 9 p.m. July 13 in Holly Hill, Florida. He was a brother of Mrs. A. T. Wilson of Cynthiana.
Born March 31, 1899, in Harrison County, he was a son of the late Augustus and Etta Conner Ammerman. He was a member of the Baptist Church, Daytona Beach, Fla.
Survivors are three brothers, Lewis Ammerman, Whitesburg, Jonathan Ammerman, Miami, Fla., Ben Ammerman, Paris; two other sisters, Mrs. Wilson Renaker, Whitesburg, and Ms. Anna Sue Ammerman, Miami, Fla.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today (Thursday) at Smith-Rees Chapel by the Rev. Earl Curry. Burial will be in Battle Grove Cemetery.
Pallbeaers will be Joe Hendricks, Will Hayden, Harold Coppage, Charlie Wiglesworth, George Givens Ammerman and Ward Renaker.
