AMMERMAN, Lewis C. 79, resident of Whitesburg and native of Harrison County, died at his residence 11:30 p.m. Monday following an illness of sseveral months. He was a member of the Whitesburg First Baptist Church, a veteran of WW I and a meber of the Whitesburg Garden Club. He was a retired auto dealer.

Surviving are his wife, Frances Renaker Ammerman; three sisters, Mrs. A. T. Wilson, Cynthiana, Mrs. Augsuta A. Renaker, Louisville, Miss Sue Ann Ammerman, Miami, and one brother, Ben Ammerman, Bourbon County.

The body is at Banks Funeral Home, Whitesburg where brief services will be held today at 1 p.m. Following the services at Whitesburg, Mr. Ammerman will be brought to the Whaley Funeral Home, Cynthiana. Funeral services will be conducted at the Whaley Funeral Home 1 p.m. Thursday by Rev. Bill F. Mackey. Burial in the Battle Grove Cemetery.

Pallbearers: W.G. Holbrook, Dr. Carl Pigman, Paul Vermillion, Stephen M. Combs, Arthur Dixon, D.S. Setzer, R.W. Price, Albert Jones, Herman Hale, Maurice Lewis, Leonard Lewis, Jack Cox, Jimmy Brown and Lester Hammpock.

Friends may call at the Whaley Funeral Home from 7-9 p.m. today.
