The Rev. Joseph Hezzey Williams, 58, of Route 6, Macon, died unexpectedly at his residence last night.
A native of Bleckley County, Mr. Williams was the son of the late T.A. Williams and the late Mrs. Lucinda Adkins Williams. He attended the public schools of Bleckley County and had been a resident of Bibb County for 31 years.
Mr. Williams was a Methodist minister and was shop superintendent for Bibb County.
Survivors include his wife, the former Miss Mary Hall; two daughters, Mrs. Bruce Taylor of Houston, Texas and Frances Williams of Macon; four sons, Charles Williams, George Williams, Roy Williams and Billy Williams, all of Macon; one brother, Thomas Williams of Macon; three sisters, Mrs. Effie Conley of Macon, Mrs. Stella Bridges of Cochran and Mrs. Thelma Johnson of Milledgeville.
