Effie Williams Conley, 80, of 166-C Montego Bay Road died Saturday in a local hospital. Born in Bleckley County, she had lived in Macon for 19 years before moving to Milledgeville two years ago. She was an employee of the Bibb Manufacturing Co. retired after 30 years of service and was a charter member of Southside Congregational Holiness Church. Survivors; children, Leroy Conley and Lola Howell, both of Milledgeville and Bernard Conley and Inez Mimbs, both of Macon; 18 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. Services; 2 p.m. Monday in Hart's Mortuary. Burial; Evergreen Cemetery. The Revs. Georgia Bridgers and Mahue Bridgers will officiate. Visitation; 7 until 9 tonight in the funeral home.
