Mr. Williams was born in Wabash, Ind. Feb. 8, 1882, the son of Hezekiah Williams and Mrs. Fannie Gilda Williams, and had lived in Macon for 11 years.
Survivors are his wife, the former Miss Cindy Louvain Adkins; four daughters, Mrs. Thelma W. Johnson and Effie Conley of Macon; Mrs Pearlie Slaughter and Mrs. Stella Bridges of Cochran; two sons, Joseph H. and Thomas A. Williams Jr. of Macon; 24 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs Inez Berryhill Thomaston, Mrs. Ella Carroll and Mrs Matt Carroll of Macon; Mrs. Maggie Butler, Alma, Ga.; four brothers, Wylie Williams and Hardy williams of Cochran; Willie Williams, Chester, Ga. and John Williams of Plainfield,Ga.
