ABERDEEN - Lillie James, 96, died Saturday at the Aberdeen-Monroe County Hospital.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday April 11 at the New Hebron M. B. Church with the Rev. M. D. Bowen officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. White and Jackson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors includes, Pompi Cooperwood Harris and Johnnie L. Baker, both of Aberdeen, Sel Chandler of Albany, N. Y., Annie Davis of East St. Louis, Ill.; seven sons, Jessie James, David James, and John D. James, Jr.,all of Aberdeen, Walter James and George James, both of St. Louis,Mo., Samuel James of Columbus, ohio, Benjamin James of Warren, Ohio; 51 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 30 great-great grandchildren.
