Alfred A. Carr, 74, of 607 Sylvan Avenue, died Saturday at Memorial Hospital. A native of Fairmont, he was a son of the late Camel and Clara (Spicer) Carr. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, a social member of FOE Aerie 245 and a retired foreman for the Cumberland Brewing Company. Surviving are his widow, Leona A. Carr; two sons, Vincent J. Carr, Willingboro. N.J., and James C. Carr, Cumberland; three daughters, Mrs. Colleen T. Mickey, LaVale; Mrs. Jean Poland, Cresaptown, and Mrs. James Smith, Gaithersburg; a brother, Howard Carr, Barberton, Ohio; a half sister, Mrs. Evelyn Sinsic, Bacliff, Texas; 19 grandchildren and one-great-grandchild. The body is at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, where friends will be received from 7 until 9 p.m. today and from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 p.m. tomorrow. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m Wednesday in St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
