Bio

A couple of modest mice, based in New Market, MD.

Greetings! I am a lifelong taphophile who spent plenty of time in my early years exploring cemeteries and monuments, especially those of American Presidents, with my father. Nowadays, I enjoy visiting final resting places, taking photos, and adding GPS with my husband, and sometimes our kiddos. I have also become interested in genealogical research in recent years, and like tracking down the missing information for memorials. I have experienced more than my share of loss, including a child and both of my parents, and I feel that the grief guides me in helping others to be remembered.

I'm happy to work with others and honor edit requests and transfers within guidelines. Please be prepared to share documentation if your info differs from mine. Remember that volunteers work hard to add photos, GPS, and memorial information. We're all doing our best to honor the deceased appropriately. Rude messages will be referred to admin.

PLEASE consider NOT posting death certificates as photos or obituaries/info as flowers. If you have pertinent info, please send an edit request and/or email any details you would like me to add to the bio. Also, please PLEASE remember that the official abbreviation for Find a Grave is FG, not the (hopefully unintentional) slur I keep seeing on some memorials.

Please feel free to use my photos for genealogical purposes. Acknowledgment is always appreciated with online photos. Thanks!
