Colleen Theresa Mickey, 88, of Cumberland, died Thursday, April 25, 2019, at Western Maryland Regional Medical Center.
Born March 28, 1931, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Leona (Cosgrove) Carr.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Glenn E. Mickey, and brother, Vincent J. Carr.
Mrs. Mickey worked for Queen City Dairy and in dietary at the Rancocas Valley Hospital in Willingboro, N.J. She also worked as a day-care provider.
She belonged to St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
Survivors include her three children, Gerald G. Mickey, Cumberland, Donna Mickey Low and husband, Roland, Taneytown, and Patricia M. Mickey Johnson and husband, Jeff, Middletown; two sisters, Betty Ann Poland and Mary Catherine Smith and husband, Frank, all of Cumberland; her brother, James C. Carr and wife, Ginny, Cumberland; four grandchildren, Robert G. Strohmeyer, Randy J. Strohmeyer, Cara M. Johnson, and Kevin M. Johnson; and four great-grandchildren, Andrew and Elizabeth Strohmeyer, and Logan and Jack Strohmeyer. She was a loving and caring person and will be missed by everyone that knew her.
Friends will be received at Upchurch Funeral Home, P.A., 202 Greene St., Cumberland, Wednesday, May 1, 2019, from 6 to 8 p.m., and Thursday, May 2, 2019, from 9 to 11 a.m.
Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Thursday at 11 a.m.
Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
