Ruth was born on April 23, 1940 in Bishopville, Texas to James Monroe & Minnie May Bishop Hancock. She received her education at Franklin High School. She was a life long resident of Franklin / Robertson County and was of the Baptist Faith.
She was preceded in death by her Father, James Monroe Hancock and her Mother, Minnie May Bishop Hancock.
She is survived by: Daughters & Sons in laws: Melissa & David Treece of Franklin, Tx Darlene & Neal Harris of Franklin, Tx Sons & Daughter in laws: Terry Paskey & Mary Lutz of Franklin, Tx Mark & Lisa Williamson of Franklin, Tx Sisters: Opal Green of Franklin, Tx Annette Nichols of Friendswood, Tx Brothers: Wayne Hancock of Franklin, Tx Leslie Hancock of Franklin, Tx 17 Grandchildren 6 Great Grandchildren
Services will be held on Friday, August 2, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the Elliott Baptist Church. Rev. Dale Wells will officiate. Burial will follow in the Elliott Cemetery.
