He was born in Keota, CO March 22, 1913. He attend school in Lafayette, CO. During WWII he was a Chief Petty Officer in the US Navy, serving in Lighter than Air Crafts ( Blimps ) in San Diego, California, Norfolk, Virginia and Lakehurst, New Jersey. In 1976 he retired from the Denver Fire Department, Station No. 9, Globeville area, after 30 years of service.
His brothers David and Fred II, and sisters Anna and Lydia have passed on. He is survived by one niece, three nephews and many grand and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the "Friends of the Denver Fire Department" charity in Bill's name.
