~ In Our Time ~

And when we grow old I will find two chairs and set them close each sun-lit day, that you and I ~ in quiet joy ~ may rock the world away.

"In Our Time" and "Gratitude"
By American Poet Robert Sexton

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Time stays ~ we go...

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

And if I should go before you,
Know that a part of me still remains.
You will not see me,
Yet I will be there walking beside you.

You will not touch me,
Yet I will live in your heart
And memory always.

Have faith that we will one day
Walk hand in hand in eternity.

Until then, live your life ~ for life is good ~
And know that I am with you.

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

If you love somebody enough, you can still hear the laughter after they're gone.

If ever there comes a day when we can't be together, keep me in your heart, I'll stay there forever ~ Winnie the Pooh

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

I can't promise that I'll be here for the rest of your life ~ but I can promise that I'll love you for the rest of mine.

The best gift we can give to those who have left us is to live fully in their place.

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

What we have once enjoyed,
We never can lose ~
All that we love deeply ~
Becomes a part of us.

By Helen Keller

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal.
Love leaves a memory no one can steal.

I will never forget your kindness.

Its gentle warmth will continue to glow,
long after these days have passed.

You have been a gift to my spirit,
and ~ evermore ~ I will hold dear
the blessings of your gracious heart.

Have hope, be strong, laugh loud, play hard, live in the moment, smile often, dream big, remember you are loved and never never give up!

Courage doesn't always roar, sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, "I will try again tomorrow."

Come to the water,
Live in the moment, and be...
Refresh your mind,
Rest your body, renew your spirit.
Regain a gentle heart and
Peaceful soul...
Reclaim yourself.
Restore in the power that
Is greater than you.

By - Bonnie L. Mohr

Souls are tended, heartaches mended, time suspended ~ by the sea.

Through all of my life...
Summer, Winter, Spring, and Fall of my life ~
All I ever will recall of my life...
Is all of my life with you.

Death is nothing at all. It does not count. I have only slipped away into the next room. Nothing has happened. Everything remains exactly as it was. I am I, and you are you, and the old life that we lived so fondly together is untouched, unchanged.

Whatever we were to each other, that we are still. Call me by the old familiar name. Speak of me in the easy way which you always used to. Put no difference into your tone. Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow. Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes that we enjoyed together. Play, smile, think of me, pray for me. Let my name be ever the household word that it always was. Let it be spoken without an effort, without the ghost of a shadow upon it.

Life means all that it ever meant. It is the same as it ever was. There is absolute and unbroken continuity. What is this death but a negligible accident? Why should I be out of your mind because I am out of sight? I am but waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, just round the corner.

All is well. Nothing is hurt, nothing is lost. One brief moment and all will be as it was before ~ better, infinitely happier and forever ~ we will be together.

By: Henry Scott Holland

Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near. Still loved, still missed, and forever dear.

There are some who bring a light so great to the world that even after they have gone, the light remains.

"What we call the end is also a beginning. The end is where we start from." By T.S. Eliot

It may strike suddenly, catching our heart by surprise.

Or it may pound relentlessly and persistently for years, like ocean waves beating on the shore.

Whether we're conscious of what or whom we're missing, our heart knows. We may never be happy about whom or what we have lost, but it is possible to be happy again.

Grief isn't an abnormal condition. It's nature's way of healing our heart.

By Melody Beattie - 52 Weeks of Conscious Contact

For My Mother

Even when you're all grown-up,
your mother still can say
Exactly what you need to hear
to take your cares away...
Even when you're all grown-up,
your mother still can do
Some special little favor
that just means the world to you.

She still can really make your day
in one way or another...
Yes, even when you're all grown-up,
you always need your mother.

You always knew what I needed...
hope you know I'll always need you.

"I love you Mom...this card says it all!

There will never be a day when i don't need you! You mean the world to me and I love you so much!"

Happy Mother's day

Guppy xoxo

An invisible thread connects those
who are destined to meet...
Regardless of time, place, or circumstances.

The thread may stretch or tangle,
but it will never break.

May you be open to each thread
that comes into your life...

The golden ones and the coarse ones and
May you weave them into a brilliant and beautiful life...

I thought I saw her face today
In the sparkle of the morning sun.
And then I heard the angel say
"Her work on earth is done."

I thought I heard her voice today
Then laugh her hearty laugh.
And then I heard the angel say
"There's peace little one at last."

I thought I felt her touch today
In the breeze that rustled by.
And then I heard the angel say
"The spirit never dies."

I thought that she had left me
For the stars so far above.
And then I heard the angel say
"She left you with her love."

I thought that I would miss her
And never find my way.
And then I heard the angel say
"She's with you every day."

messed up token
Hi: I really don't is so weird. I was sorting my tokens a couple of months ago & noticed that forget me not flower in the middle of them, and thought, "hummm... I haven't used that for years, wonder how it got here".... and I deleted it.

At that time, I didn't noticed any particular "token" missing...just thought it to be a fluke.

Then, last week, I went to use my "raining hearts" and right there - at the beginning of my tokens, the purple heart was gone and in its place was that dumb little forget me not flower - then it hit me that is what must have happened with the one I had found several months ago!

A couple of years ago, every token which had been left for my son, over the years, disappeared - I emailed support and they restored some of them, but that was another weird happening...wish I knew what to tell you; but I miss my little purple heart, so I went to several sites where I had used it, in an effort to "copy" it again...and everyone of them had the forget me not flower! So it was "replaced" all over the site automatically! Oh well.... Cheers~ Shirleen

Hello Clair,

Thank you so much for your kind words about Peggy. She is very special to me. The fire at Our Lady of the Angels School is considered the third worst fire in Chicago history. The third worst school fire in our nations history. Had the arsonist who set the fire been convicted it would be considered the worst fire in our nations history via arson and lose of life! Many of our fire codes were changed nation wide due to this horrendous fire. Peggy was not burned, however, her classroom had the largest amount of lives lost,28 students and their 27 year old nun. They all died from smoke inhalation. I thank you so much for letting me know about the prayer card. I use to have it right as you opened up her website. However, some how it got changed. I say her prayer many times a day. May God bless you always Clair.
