I have been researching the families of my wife and mine for about thirty years. It is great to learn about family and their migrations. |
If anyone finds mistakes on my entries or would like to add information, please contact me. I have been going to cemeteries in my area and have been entering photos and info so many of my entries aren't family. It is always great to meet new family and friends.
Barton/Lambert/Goforth/Schooley/White/Miller/ Dunn/Massie/Eggers research is in IL, IA, IN, KY, ENG, MA, DE.
My wife's family
Gibson/McCandless/Turner/Dunn/Ramsey/Brammer/McCully/Wilson genealogy research is in MO, TN, PA, IN.
My wife and I have four children and nine grandchildren which makes our life very enjoyable and now we are blessed with seven great grandchildren. Besides searching for our family, I enjoy wood carving.
The Good Lord has blessed me in many ways!
Remember, "No one is truly gone, until they are forgotten".
With the memorials I have set up, if you find any mistakes, please let me know so I can get them corrected. I'm not perfect, but I strive for perfection in all that I try to do on Find A Grave.
When requesting links, please give me the name of the person plus the ID number. This insures I link the correct person, mother, father or spouse.
On ADDITIONS, CORRECTIONS, LINKS or TRANSFERS for any Memorial, PLEASE USE THE EDIT BUTTON and Suggest A Correction or provide additional information. Any of the above posted on my message board will be ignored and deleted.
IN OTHER WORDS, SEND A SAC! Please, no bulk transfer requests!
I will be happy to transfer to a relative if it is within the Find A Grave guidelines, otherwise it will be at my discretion. Please state your relationship of the memorial you want transferred. Just saying they are family is not acceptable.
We want the memorials of those we loved to be as nice as possible.
My Hotmail account is down so use my Yahoo email. Please send all messages to (firstname.lastname@example.org) until further notice.

I am a Vermont Civil War buff, and am working on a project to identify the last resting spots of many of our "old soldiers" that had ties to Vt. Joseph Parcher is one such patriot.May I use the photo that you contributed to his memorial page, to post on the Vt.C.W.site? ( www.vermontcivilwar.org)
And also, I see you contributed a photo for Willoughby Wells. may I use that too?
You will get credit for this.
Thank you for your consideration.
Much Thanks! I remember when they lived at Harper, KS. I was about 7 years old. Charlie was ten years older then me.
Flora was taking a pyrex dish out of the oven, dropped it by accident, it shattered
And Charlie lost an eye. He had a glass one.
Thanks again.... C.M. Wright

|Linda Bonnell||Thank you|

|Kyle James Henegar||Gayle Jean Rebel Taylor - 4405521|
My name is Kyle Henegar. Gayle Jean Taylor married Anthony Lee Taylor. Anthony was my Grandfather, I'd really like to manage Gayle's memorial. I just now found out where she was buried, I'd really like to manage her memorial and make edits. They had a son named Clint Edmon Taylor and you also manage him and I'd really like to manage his memorial also, his memorial number is 44055297. My contributor number is 48442750.
|Linda Bonnell||Am I pushing my luck?|
You have been so kind as to accomodate my wishes!
If you could finally show Seldah Hyatt and James Albert Koonsman as parents of my grandfather (who died 6 days before I was born), George Lee Koonsman, Sr. born 12-24-1890 died 6-7-1951 buried Mountain View Cem., Pueblo, Colorado Find A Grave Memorial# 142935371, he is linked to my grandmother Minnie Koonsman Memorial# 142935398.
My grandparents are not shown linked to their children, George Lee Koonsman, Jr. nor to Catherine Seldah Koonsman.
My late mom, Catherine Seldah Koonsman Ten Eyck is Find A Grave Memorial#75515802, my late dad, James Allen Ten Eyck Memorial#68948083.
My late uncle, George Lee Koonsman, Jr.,Memorial#103397550, his late wife Virginia Memorial#103397545. This would make my day, my week, my life!
Can't tell you how much your work means to me!
|Linda Bonnell||Seldah H. Pike and Hurd|
I thank you for your prompt action regarding my late mother's beloved grandmother! To further Seldah's tale a bit more, could you please show that the H. stood for her maiden name Hyatt; her father, Wash. L. Hyatt 1829-1864 buried Friendship
Cem., Mount Vernon, Knox Co., OH; her mother Sarah
Ann Hurd 1835-1903 also buried Friendship Cem.
Turns out that my late mother's middle name came from Selda Hyatt Pike whose first name came from her own grandmother, mother of Sarah Ann Hurd, Criselda Gilbert Hurd 1810-1884, wife of John Hurd 1801-1886. John, Criselda and Sarah Ann Hurd all were born in England.
Linda (Ten Eyck) Bonnell
with many thanks!
|Linda Bonnell||Seldah H. Pike|
was my mother, Catherine Seldah Koonsman Ten Eyck's paternal grandmother. Seldah should be linked not only to James A. Koonsman (1861-1901) buried in Friendship Cem., Mount Vernon, Knox Co., OH but with second husband Elwood E. Pike (1853-1926) buried in Riverside Cem., Lamar, Prowers Co., CO.
Respectfully, Linda (Ten Eyck) Bonnell
