Bio and Links
Bio Photo Family history has long tugged at my heartstrings. It has also been a vehicle for meeting "cousins" and new friends as we assist and exchange data. Inevitably, errors occur so, please inform me of any you may discover on the info I have added (and I'm happy to place additional facts...THANK YOU IN ADVANCE! If I have inadvertently overlooked anyone, please know that I am sincerely appreciative of your input.) to this fantastic site directly from that memorial.

Will consider transfer family members too "per Find A Grave guidelines "(Please contact the Find A Grave member who created the memorial via the "Suggest a Correction" link under the "edit" tab on the memorial in question with your request to have the memorial transferred to you. Please, DO NOT post requests on my Bio page as it is very time consuming to search for those memorials and less accurate. Also include in your request your unique Contributor ID # which is displayed to the right of your member name on your profile page. "Transfer requests should be for direct relatives WITHIN FOUR GENERATIONS, this would be your Siblings, Parents, Grandparents, and Great-grandparents. EXPLAIN your Relationship in the request. Any non-direct relatives (Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, etc.) are Not required to be transferred. Keep in mind that the original contributor may also be related to the memorial and may not want to make the transfer. BULK surname requests should not be made. Be advised that memorials listed as famous or maintained by Find A Grave will not be transferred. Please use the original memorial page to make updates and add information.). I will ONLY TRANSFER management of memorials to immediate relatives as defined in the Find A Grave rules...this is their policy. Other requests WILL be ignored. AGAIN, PLEASE USE the "EDIT" and "SUGGEST A CORRECTION". Additional data should not be placed in the flower/token area of the memorial page. I also need an email address, or way to contact you when you send me requests and questions. Many Newbies are not making themselves familiar with site guidelines and sadly, some simply do not care. I'm also very capable of adding data so, please do not ask me to transfer and you'll transfer the memorial pg back to me after you've added more data. The guidelines also state to allow 30 days for updates. Patience is necessary as I have a life beyond this site. In the event of the same memorial listed twice on the same day, please refer to the MEMORIAL number. The lowest MEMORIAL # was the one added first, with the highest MEMORIAL # being the duplicate.

Virtual cemeteries are the way to "gather" your ancestors together. I respect all contributors of FAG and do expect the same from them. Also, please keep in mind we are contributing this very important data for future generations so they might continue the wonderful work that we are currently peforming. The focus is assisting others and remembering those who passed before us.

I'm honored to add those who have passed into their eternal life as they should never be forgotten. ALL of these wonderful memorials are NOT related to me as I have added others I "met" while doing research at cemeteries, libraries, or seeking data on the Internet. Feel free to visit and leave floral/tokens/messages. Heartfelt thanks also to my fab ancestors!

Here is a list of our (deceased) Fallen Gravers @ Memorial #33083506
you may wish to visit and leave a token for.

Hello! I am hoping that you can help. My mother, Hazel Westberry, died in November of this year. She worked with a Colleen Page (married a Luther Farmer) at a restaurant called the "Merry-Go-Round" in Sebring, Florida during WWII. She spoke a lot about Colleen and her family and I have a few photos of Colleen and my mother. I am creating a memorial for Colleen but cannot find information as to her burial place. I believe she died in 1996 in Sebring. Since you added photos of her sister, I was hoping that you could give me information about Colleen. Thank you! Bob

PS This is my mother in the photo

RE: Thanks!
I am sorry to hear you had a bad experience at C. Hills, but maybe it was just one person and a bad day! As far as you having created a memorial and then someone said they were not buried there - well it has been my experience (as with my mother in Tampa years ago)...sometimes a funeral home handles the arrangements locally, but then the body is shipped elsewhere for burial. I got the impression that you are creating your memorials from obituaries sometimes, or do you go to the cemetery to see the gravesite? All kinds of possibilities. Sometimes I have found that the first person dies, a double marker is purchased, and then years later, the 2nd person is buried elsewhere....as maybe they moved to be with their children in their old age and were not brought back to the original place. Anyway...hope all else is good with you.

Thanks Susan for the transfers. I appreciate it very much. I know your bio says you only transfer parents and grandparents. I asked thinking you might transfer. I always transfer if they are not related to me. I just think of keeping family with family.
Thank you, Karla
