Bio

I just recently started Scrapbooking with the Forever group software. It becomes a fun but expensive hobby - doing both Traditional to use my photos and digital on my computer. But it started my hunt for my Family Tree both on my Maternal and Paternal sides. My Maternal side includes Hubble's, Moseley's, Robards', Brummet's and Webb's. My Paternal side includes Runyon's, McWilliams, Phillips, Wilkin's, Stanley's, Bryant's, Benefield's, and Pottorff's. Many of these ancestors I have not even started to explore so I love when distant family members help.

I found Find A Grave and it answered many questions and has awakened a love of Genealogy. I am spending hours tracking long lost family members and it is like a puzzle - you find one clue and piece and you become energized wanting to know more.

I like sites where the Obituaries are typed clearly with spacing to make easy reading and tracking of family members. I love family member's sites that have photos - it helps me understand where certain physical characteristics came from.

I retired in 2016 after 27+ years teaching Family and Consumer Science. I still love baking and sewing and have renewed my skills in crochet, knitting and quilting by taking classes.

I have met such wonderful people and long-lost cousins have contacted me on Find A Grave - love the new friendships and hope they continue. My thanks to the many FAG members who are helping me as I struggle on my own Learning Curve - you are wonderful.
