This is a handwritten, apparently unpublished obituary for her. No published version has ever been located. The original was in the possession of Rosie Baker Coffey and is now in possession of her descendants.

Sarah Jane Lollar was born Sept. 12, 1855 in Alabama, lived there until she was grown was married to Mr. Arch Bolton in 1870--to this union two sons were born. They moved to Texas in 1875 where Mr. Bolton died. On March 9, 1879 she was united in marriage to E. C. Baker, to this union 9 children was born, 6 sons and 3 daughters. All are living except two sons preceded her in death, also Mr. Baker who died in 1926. She leaves to mourn her death 6 sons and 3 daughters, Arbrey, Albert, Elbert, Cleveland, and Walter of the home near Seiling, Okla. Mrs. Ella Marks, Bethany, Okla., Mrs. Etta Hayes, Mrs. W. C. Coffey, and William E. Baker of Canton, Okla. 21 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren. Grandma Baker moved with family from Texas to Okla. in 1900, lived on the home place since 1908, she departed this life July 24, 1936. Funeral service was conducted at the home 2:30 p.m. Sat. by Elder Frank C. Anderson of Canton. Remains laid to rest in the Hope Cemetery near Seiling. She joined the Baptist church early in life and always held to that belief. Moved from Texas to Ark. from Ark. to Mo. from Mo. to Oklahoma.
