Services Held For Hugh Bolton, 85
Services for Hugh A. Bolton, 85, were held at the Pentecostal Holiness church in Canton, Monday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Howard Hartzel and Rev. A. L. Oden officiating. Burial was in Hope cemetery near the Chester community.
A retired farmer, Bolton died Saturday at the Okeene hospital after a six weeks illness. He was born in Hill county, Texas, and spent his early life in Texas and eastern Oklahoma. He had lived in the Canton and Longdale communities for about 40 years.
He is survived by two sisters, Ella Marks, Wapanucka, Okla., and Annetta Hays, Rocky Ford, Colo.; a brother, Walter Baker, Canton, and a number of nieces and nephews.
