Lawrence R. Barringer, 62, Milton, died Saturday at his home of a heart attack. He was a life-time resident of Trimble County, and a retired mail carrier. In recent years he had operated the Milton Cab. He was a member of the Mount Byrd Christian Church. He is survived by his wife, Lela Barringer, Madison; a son, Myron Todd Barringer, Tucson, Ariz., thre daughters: Mrs. Wanda Hitz, Versailles, Mrs. Jerry Lee Wheeler, wife of Carroll County Sheriff William Wheeler, Carrollton, and Mrs. Beth Turner, Indianapolis; a sister, Mrs. Robert Wiseman, Tucson, Ariz.; six grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Services were held today at the Wood Funeral Home in Milton; burial was in Moffett Cemetery.
