Jerrilee Wheeler, 69, of Carrollton died Friday, Sept. 7, 2001, at Norton's Hospital in Louisville, Ky.

She was born Oct. 28, 1931, in Trimble County, Ky., the daughter of Lawrence and Lela Conner Barringer.

She was a member of Carrollton Christian Church, had been a deputy Circuit Court clerk in Carroll County and was a member of the Ghent Woman's Club.

She is survived by her husband, William L. "Bill" Wheeler; a daughter, Angie McMahan of Carrollton; a son, Jim Wheeler of London, Ky; a sister, Beth Hutchcraft of Greenfield, Ind.; a brother, Todd Barringer of Cincinnati; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Wanda Hitz.

Services will be at 11 a.m. EDT Monday at Carrollton Christian Church. Burial will be at Moffett Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. EDT Sunday at Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home in Carrollton and 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at Carrollton Christian Church.

Memorial gifts may be made to "Trust for Life" in care of the funeral home.
