DEADWOOD -- Requiem mass will be celebrated for Margaret Jane Buehler at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Ambrose Catholic Church here with the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Michael Thompson as celebrant. Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the McColley Funeral home Chapel in Lead. Mrs. Buehler died Wednesday morning at a Deadwood hospital following a lengthy illness. She was born Nov. 13, 1887 at Osage, Iowa, the daughter of George and Mary Ferguson, and was a long-time resident of Deadwood. She was married to Gus Buehler on Feb. 4, 1913 at Manley, Iowa. Survivors include the widower, a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Mary) Reinveld, Pocatello, Idaho; a son, Glenn of Fresno, Calif.; a sister, Mary Ferguson, Osage, Iowa; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and three sisters. Mrs. Buehler was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Deadwood, for which a memorial was been established, and a member of the St. Ambrose Catholic Ladies Aid Society. Burial will be in Rosehill cemetery at Spearfish with McColley Funeral Home of lead in charge of arrangements.
