Earl Bennett Dies Suddenly



Former Fultonville Resident Victim of Heart Attachk; Rite Thursday



Fultonville - Mr. and Mrs. Gordon S. Weeper received word Monday announcing the death of Mr. Weeper's brother-in-law, Earl J. Bennett of Cherry Valley, which occurred Sunday night at he Cooperstown hospital. Death was due to angina pectoris. Mr. Bennett was taken ill on Thursday and on Saturday he was removed ot the Cooperstown hospital where he died Sunday night.

Mr. Bennett was a former resident of fultonville and was well known here. He would have been 50 years old next April. He was born in Milford. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Morrell Bennett.

He was twice married, his first wife being Miss Bessie Weeper of Fultonville, whom he married on August 27, 1913. She died on October 17, 1930. At the time of Mrs. Bennett's death they were residents of Johnstown. Four years ago he was married to his second wife. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy, of CHerry Valley; one daughter, Miss Jean Bennett, a student nurse at the Presbyterian Medical Center, New York; a son, Morrell Bennett, a chemist in South Carolina; his father, and step mother, Mr. and Mrs. James Morrell Bennett of Milford, N.Y.; a sister, Stella of Port Washington; two brothers, Fred Bennett of Cranesville and Perry Bennett of Milford.

The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon at 1 o'clock from the New Funeral home at Milford. Interment will be made in Maple Avenue cemetery, Fultonville.
