Throughout the years, she was a devoted homemaker to her husband and family and also helped with the operation of the farm. Lalah professed her faith in Christ and was baptized early in her life. She was an active member of the New Home Free Will Baptist Church in Wright County. For many years, she lovingly cared for her parents and others who needed special attention. Her family was very important to her and she was especially fond of her grandchildren. Besides her work, she also found enjoyment in cooking for her family. Lalah was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed, but the memories she created for her family and friends will live on forever.
