Otis Lee Lemons, son of Elmer Ernest and Gertie Izetta Davidson Lemons, was born Aug 27, 1934, in Wright County, MO.

He departed this life Jul 30, 1990, in his home near Hartville, MO, at the age of 55 years, 11 months and 3 days.

On Oct 4, 1957, he was united in marriage to Lalah Louise Keith and to this marriage two sons were born.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Darrell Lemons.

Otis is survived by his wife Lalah of the home; 2 sons Terry Lemons, Lebanon, MO, and Gary Lemons, Hartville, MO; 4 sisters Jessie Kelsay, Mae Todd and Retha Sanders, all of Hartville, MO, and Dorothy Johnson, Mansfield, MO; 2 brothers Orin and Ancil Lemons, both of Hartville, MO; 6 grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

He was born and raised in Wright County, MO, and lived and worked most of his life on the family dairy farm.

From 1957 to 1959, he served his country faithfully in the U.S. Army.

Otis had professed his faith in Christ and was a member of the Little Creek Baptist Church. He rededicated his life to Christ 4 weeks ago. He enjoyed working on his farm and in his spare time he liked to fish and hunt. Otis will be fondly remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and a caring friend.
