Andrew J. Bondurant
Andrew Jackson "Jack" Bondurant, 90, of 814 Sutton Hollow Road, Martinsville, died Monday, Nov. 6, 2000, in Memorial Hospital of Martinsville and Henry County.
A native of Franklin County, he was born April 8, 1910, a son of Granville Thomas Bondurant and Elizabeth Barbour Bondurant, both deceased. He also was preceded in death by his wife, Bertha M. Bondurant; five brothers; and three sisters.
Bondurant was a farmer and merchant and attended Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Emmie B. Gagne and Betty B. Mitchell, both of Martinsville; three sons, Andrew J. Bondurant Jr. of Alexandria, Bobby J. Bondurant of Amherst and Granville T. Bondurant of Ridgeway; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Norris Funeral Services Chapel in Martinsville by the Rev. Berlin Hanks. Burial will be in Roselawn Burial Park.
The family will receive friends at Norris Funeral Services from 7 to 8:30 this evening and other times at the home.
