DIED.
NANCE - At his late residence, 2 1/2 miles from [illegible] pike, C.W. Nance, on Monday, May 8, at 7 p.m., in his 83d year.
Funeral services will be conducted by Elders P.G. Byars and J.K. Womack at Central Baptist Church, Thursday, May 11, at 11 o'clock. Friends invited.
The following are requested to act as pall-bearers: Judge E.H. East, A.L. Demoss, Col. A.S. Colyar, N.D. Malone, Thos. Callender, T.P. Weakley, J.H. Yarbrough, Capt. Frank [illegible - Green?], Geo. W. Shields, Sr., James R. Allen, R.D. Marshall, W.J. Arrington and S.J. Underwood.
Carriages from M.S. Combs & Co.'s at 9 a.m.
