William Henry Glines, 79, of 1923 Twelfth East Street, died in a Salt Lake hospital Friday at 10:30 a.m. of causes incident to age.
Mr. Glines was born in Cedar Fort, Utah, July 24, 1862. He resided at Vernal for 15 years and in Canada for 23 years.
An active member of the LDS church, he served as superintendant of the Vernal LDS Ward Sunday School, filled a mission to the southern states and in later years had been a worker in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Mary Adaline Workman Glines of Salt Lake City; four daughters, Mrs. Violet Mary Attridge of Alberta, Canada and Mrs. Adelila Delita Brown, Mrs. Erma Nellie Nielson and Mrs. Loa Myrle Workman of Salt Lake City; six sons, Basil Zoram Glines of Alberta; Aldith Clair Glines of Union, Utah; Newell Goward Glines of Los Angeles; Joseph Hyrum, Edgar, Vere and Lyon Glenn Glines of Salt Lake City; 28 grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a brother, Lawrence C. Glines of Los Angeles.

William Henry Glines is the son of Elizabeth Ann Myers and James Harvey Glines.
He married Martha Ann Murray July 1, 1886 in the Logan Temple, Utah. She died in 1887. He then married Mary Adoline Workman September 24, 1941 in the Logan Temple, Utah.
