Addie was the 1st of 12 children of Charles & Ann Hopkins. She had siblings Rose, Jennie, James, Fred, Artie, Maud & Elizabeth. They all became adults and married. Celestia, Lorana, twins Ray & Roy all died young. From her father's 2nd marriage to Harriet Lincoln, she had brothers Charles F., Carl, Walter & Leland.
Addie was 20 when she married Frank McLaughlin, he was 30, on April 26, 1883. They were only married 3 years when he died on Oct. 18, 1887.
[per Mike McLaughlin 8/8/13, upon Frank's death, Addie inherited the original McLaughlin farm in Blooming Grove] Addie then married Samuel Dickey. They were married 39 years when Sam died on July 25, 1929. Addie never married again and died 20 years later on April 6, 1950. Both are buried at Edwards Grove Cemetery.

Informant was Mrs. Mary S. Lewis. She reported Addie was born in Huron Co. on Feb. 27, 1862. Parents were Charles Hopkins and Ann M. Mitchell. [8/9/13]
