Rollie O. Smith, 82, of Cisne, IL died April 8, 2006, at Fairfield Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Smith was born May 21, 1923 in Cisne, the son of Fred Monroe and Gracie A. Bunnell Smith. He married Ruth States February 25, 1945 in Cisne.

He was a member and deacon of Blue Point Free Will Baptist church in Cisne and a member of Mt. Erie Ruritan Club.

He was a farmer and worked at Valley Steel in Flora. After retirement he continued occasional farming projects for Mugrage Farms in Cisne. He enjoyed life by serving in his church, helping others, and working in the community.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years; a daughter, Pamela Courtright; a twin brother Robert Smith; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents, a son, Bill; four brothers; and one foster sister.

Funeral services were held at Hosselton Funeral Home with burial in the Cisne Cemetery.
