Irven Wayne "Pee Wee" Danner

Irven W. "Pee Wee" Danner, age 75, of Joplin, passed away at 10 p.m. Monday, March 15, 2004, at a local hospital.
Mr. Danner was born June 20, 1928 in Redmond, Mo.
He had lived in the Joplin area most of his life.
He was employed as the service manager and salesman for Joe Harding, Inc. for 42 years, retiring in 1993.
He was a member of the Southside Baptist Church of Joplin and served many years as Sunday School Superintendent.
He married Willie Miller on Sept. 2, 1949 in Bentonville, Ark., and she survives.
Additional survivors include two daughters, Sharon Romain, Joplin, and Jeannie Newcomb and her husband, Jerry, Diamond, Mo.; one son, Allen Danner and his wife, Loretta, Joplin; two brothers, John Danner, Alba, Mo., and Clarence Danner, Carterville, Mo.; five sisters, Loretta Thompson, Lorene Oliver, Lula Turnbull and Shirley Brown, all of Joplin, and Rosalie Belk, Duenweg, Mo.; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Floyd Danner, and two sisters, Louise Taylor and Lila Johnson.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Southside Baptist Church, 23rd and Grand, in Joplin with Rev. David Patrick officiating.
Burial will be in Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jason Romain, Jeremy Newcomb, Jarrod Newcomb, Corey Danner, Dave Carver and Delmar Clevinger.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Mason-Woodard Chapel.
