Grover Wornell Bozeman, 83, of Valley, died Friday Nov 4, 2011 at Lanier Hospital after a short illness.

Funeral services are planned for Monday, Nov 7, 2011, at 2:00 pm, at Johnson Brown Funeral home with pastor Chad McDonald officiating. Burial will immediataley follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Bozeman is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Geanine Welch Bozeman of Valley; two sons, Dennis and Cynthia Bozeman of Valley, Drew Bozeman of Alpharetta, Ga., two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandson, two sisters-in-law, Zelma Dodgen of LaFayettte, and Thyron Davis of Birmingham and several neices and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Dewey Bozeman , and Charlie Bozeman, and five sisters, Ollie McCain, Lillie Fincher, Verna Woodruff, Minnie Bozeman and Ozella Crane, his sister-in-law Octavia Welch Smith, brother-in-law Audrey Welch,and his grandson Brandon Bozeman.

Mr. Bozeman was born in Randolph County to the late Huey Bozeman and Cora Bell Bailey Bozeman on March 19, 1928.

He retired with West Point Stevens with over 50 years of service. He was also a faithful member of Valley First Baptist Church for approximately 50 years, where he served as a deacon and Sunday school teacher.

Visitation will be Sunday Nov 6, 2011 from 6-8 pm.
