83, of Cynthiana, Kentucky, died Wednesday, June 8, 2011, at her residence. She was born in Harrison County, Kentucky, October 9, 1927, to the late Roy and Ella Coreane Whalen. She was a member of the Cynthiana Christian Church. Her husband Noel Hughes preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sisters, Hazel (Kenneth) Leach and Patricia Hill, all of Cynthiana, Nieces and nephews, Kenneth Ray (Laura) Leach, Billy (Betsy) Hill, David (Linda) Hill, Patrick (Sharon) Hill and Starla Hill. Several great nieces and nephews also survive.
Services will be conducted 11 AM Saturday, June 11, 2011, at the Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home, by Dr. Larry W. Bishop, with burial in Battle Grove Cemetery.
