He is my second great grandfather.

Arrived in New York 1852 on 30 September at Age 25,
on the ship "Patrick Henry" and with Elizabeth Huber age 27, and John and Johanna (Haag or Huber,) ages 4 and 2.

Nine months later, my great Grandfather, Leonard, was the first born in the U.S. in Pennsylvania, in Butler County.

Andrew (Andreas) and Elizabeth Huber Haag with their 8 children moved to Illinois in summer of 1866.

Andreas Haag & Elizabeth Huber, married 16 Oct 1852, St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Zelienople, PA.

Andreas (Andrew) was one of the founders of the Lutheran Church in Cullom, Illinois. "Among the founders of the congregation are the names of G. B. BRENNEMEIN, J. F. OTTMUELLER, Andrew HAAG, Lorenz HAAG, Leonard HAAG, Fred HACK, George HECKLEMANN, Gottleib WENDLER, Demen STAHL, and Adam LUEBKE." This is stated in the history of the church.

There were 90 names on the records when in November, 1881 the cornerstone was laid, and on May 14,1882 the church was dedicated. The church is still in operation today.
