He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lula M. Keene; three sons, James L Keene of North Carolina, Charles Keene of Bossier City, La., and J. P. Keene Jr. of Englewood, Colo.; five daughter, Mrs. C. F. Travis of Magnolia, Mrs. A. L. Lowe of Monticello, Mrs. J. W. Williamson of Monticello, Mrs. W. P. Gibson of Monticello and Mrs. E. L. Loyd of Memphis; and one sister Mrs. Lizzie Marnoch of San Antonio, Texas. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Hartman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in the Big Springs Cemetery.
