Final rites for Mrs. Lula Louise Keene, 80, of Rt. 3 Monticello, who dies Thursday in Beecham Memorial Hospital, Magnoli (sic Magnolia) were held Friday from Hartman’s Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Bog Springs Cemetery. Mrs. Keene’s parents were the late George W. and Missouri Carr Nations.
She is survived by three sons, James L. Keene, Phoenix City, Ala., J. T. Keene, Englewood, Colorado, Charles Keene, Bossier City, La.; five daughters, Mrs. C. F. Travis, Magnolia, W. P. Gibson, Monticello, Mrs. L. Loyd, Memphis; three brothers, Andy Nations, Vicksburg, Willie Nations, Brookhaven, Emile Nations, Lorman; two sisters, Mrs. Maude McGuffie and Mrs. Emma Lofton, both of Brookhaven.
