Obituary: Lillian M. McGuire, 79, Rosebush, died Sept. 10 at Central Michigan Community Hospital. She was born in Mason County, Jan. 2, 1896. She had been an area resident for 55 years. A former teacher and housewife, she was a member of St. Henry's Catholic church and past president of the church's altar society.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, at St. Henry's Catholic Church, Rosebush, Fr. Leonard Susalla officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery. Rosary services will be at 8:30 p.m. tonight at the Stinson Funeral Home.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Dennis (Rosemary) Goddeyne, Bay City and Mrs. William (Marcy) Sweenie, Potomac, Md.; one son, Joseph, Rosebush; 19 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, two brothers, Robert Cameron, Muskegon and Cardinal Cameron, Ludington; three sisters, Cassie Gerbers, Scottville, Mildred Conrad, Scottville, and Clarabel Bucholtz, Ludington; and one sister-in-law, Josephine Corcoran, Mount Pleasant. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Marian.
