Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy V. Bass Wallace, 89, of Monroe, will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, May 5, 2007, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, with Rev. Ricky Baker and Rev. Dub Massey officiating. Interment will follow in Ford Field Cemetery near Mangham, LA.
Mrs. Wallace passed away Thursday, May 03, 2007, at St. Francis North Hospital. She was preceded in death by two sons, Jerry W. (Buddy) Bass and Bobby J. Bass; and two daughters, Linda Ann Bass and Mary Lee Bass.
Survivors include her sons, Cleven L. Bass and wife Doris, Royce B. Bass and wife Gloria, and Clyde L. Bass; daughters, Monell "Frankie" Coons and husband Jim, Peggy Sue Johnson and husband Charlie, and Vickie Godina and husband John; two special daughters-in-law, Joyce Bass and Barbara Bass; step daughter, Georgie Lee Osborn; brother, William Vernon Wilson; thirty grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and numerous great great grandchildren.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
