Agnes Weiskopf, 81, of 1410 Hickory Lane, New Holstein, died Saturday, Nov. 27, 1993 as a result of injuries sustained in an auto accident.
She is the former Agnes Hartmann, born July 6, 1912 in the town of Schleswig, a daughter of the late William and Augusta Wagner Hartmann.
On Oct. 13, 1928 she married Oris Polster in Sheboygan. He died August 24, 1929. On April 17, 1934 she married Clarence Weiskopf at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, Sheboygan. The couple celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1984. Agnes was employed at the Calumet Homestead nursing home, New Holstein, for 17 years until her retirement. The couple lived in Kiel for 53 years before moving to New Holstein in 1987. She was a member of St. Peter United Church of Christ, Kiel, its Woman's Guild and the Kiel Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband Clarence; three sons, Charles (Joyce) Polster, St. Anna; Vince (Rita) Polster, Kiel; Lanny (Violet) Weiskopf, Kiel; one daughter, Diane (Harland) Broehm, Appleton; 14 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; one brother, Ben Hartmann, Janesville; three sisters, Irma Willghnanz, Wauwatosa; Helen Schilling, Sheboygan; and Mathilda Nottling, Sheboygan; three sisters-in-law, Dorothy Weiskopf, Kiel; Betty Weiskopf, Sheboygan and Dorothy Gutschow, Kiel.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, two sisters, one granddaughter and one great grandson.
Funeral services were held at St. Peter UCC, Kiel with the Rev. Raymond C. Coombs officiating. Burial will be in the Kiel City Cemetery.
