Oris Polster, aged 28, a carpenter who resided at 1427 S. Eleventh Street in this city, was almost instantly killed shortly after 7 o'clock Saturday afternoon when the automobile he was driving collided with another at the intersection of N. Sixteenth Street and St. Clair Avenue. His wife, Agnes and a seven-months-old son, who were in the car, were only slightly injured.
Oris Polster was born January 26, 1901, in the town of Russell, and came to Sheboygan in the year 1923. On October 13, 1928 he was married to Miss Agnes Hartmann. He was a carpenter by trade and for a number of years prior to his tragic death had been employed as such by Christ Reimer of this city. Besides the heartbroken young widow and the infant son he leaves the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Polster of Elkhart Lake, one sister, Mrs. J. E. Stauss of the town of Green bush and one brother, Louis G. Polster of the town of Russell. He was a member of the local aerie Fraternal Order of Eagles.
