She was a charter member of the Kasper-Beckley-Wilkens American Legion Post Auxiliary and was its first president. She later held offices in the Manitowoc County Council of the American Legion Auxiliary. She served in all departments in the Sixth District and became state president in 1955.
In 1956 she served on the Women's Forum on National Security in Washington D.C.She was a charter member and past president of the Kiel Study Club.
Survivors are a brother, Raymond O. Schubert of Sheboygan, and a sister, Mrs. E.R. Hayner of Kiel.
Two brothers and a sister preceded her in death.
