Amanda "Damie" was the daugher of John B. and Minerva Owens BARNETT, one of 10 children, bn in Mississippi. Sometime before 1900, the Barnetts moved into Young Co. Texas, and on up to Love County, I.T. Many of her married siblings migrated and are scattered over the state.
She mar. Jesse A. Gooch in 1876, and they had 3 children: Jessie(dau) Gooch FINES, John P. & Seburn Doke Gooch. About 1898, she married Rev. Wm. G. Ridge, a widower. They lived in the Laverty area until their deaths. Her brother, John F. Barnett, is bur in Non Cemetery; her mother d. at Ft. Gibson per family info. but cemetery unk.
